    A brand new Community Youth group  'SMART' for year 6 and above was opened last night by Ashford Mayor George Koowaree at St Mary's Willesborough.  The opening night was well attended and as well as giving the new club a name, everyone had great fun!

    ​The club will run every other week on a Tuesday, between 7 - 9 pm.

    Drinks and snacks available from the Tuck Shop. Entry is £1.

    Do come and have fun and make new friends.


    A new Mothers Prayer Group is starting on the 12th October, 11.00, venue te be decided. The group will meet fortnightly.

    For Mothers who wish to pray together for their children and grandchildren.  All Welcome!!

    ​Fill a show box with gifts for a child that would otherwise not receive a Christmas present.

    There will be a get together to launch the Love in a Box 2016 campaign on Thursday 13th October at 2pm in St Mary's  Willesborough.

    There will be a jumble sale at St Mary's Willesborough 22nd October    10.30 - 12.30, raising funds for the *SPARKLERZ* after school group.  Please come along and support this special event.

    Christians Against Poverty

    The Ashford Town parish is working together with CAP to tackle the issue of poverty and debt in the community.

    As part of our committment we will be running two courses on the 9th and 16th November at St Mary's Willesborough, starting at 10.30.   The course is free, informal and confidential, and the aim is to teach you budgeting skills, and to show you a cash bvased system that works, and helps you to prevent debt.

    ​Don't miss out on taking part in the second St.Mary's church Christmas Tree festival !!

    Now is the time to start thinking how you can imaginatively decorate a real or artificial Christmas tree to represent your group, organization or business and help us celebrate Christmas as a community (and get free advertising at the same time!).  Following a very successful first year the festival will run from Friday 16th December over the Christmas period , with seasonal entertainment and refreshments to enjoy, as well as excellent coffee, tea and homemade cakes from the inSpire cafe, which opens every morning Monday - Saturday.

    To all Pokemon Go players, St. Mary's  church Willesborough is a Pokemon Gym. Come and test your skills, meet other fanatics and buy refreshments at the inSpire cafe, which is open Monday to Saturday 08.45 till 12.30 !!


    On the 18th August, the Toddler Group had their Teddy Bears picnic at Mrs Currah's house, enjoyed by one and all.

  • The local church team of Willesborough with Sevington covers a large geographical area to the southwest of Ashford town centre and includes the William Harvey Hospital, Pilgrims Hospice, Willesborough Windmill,  Willesborough Infants and Junior Schools, East Stour Primary School, The Ashford Nursing Home, Sevington Mill Care Home and Ashminster House Nursing Home.     The churches of St.Mary's Willesborough and St.Mary's Sevington are part of the Deanery of Ashford which in turn is part of the Diocese of Canterbury, a Diocese of the Church of England again links to all of these can be found on the website.

    The church has a variety of services that take place in both the Parish churches of St Mary Sevington and St Mary the Virgin Willesborough. Our main Sunday worship service is 10am at St Mary the Virgin Willesborough.
